A helping hand

There are so many things that I never thought about before having Ava: how many diapers do I need to pack in the diaper bag? Did I remember a change of clothes for her?  Or how about that time we were at the Phillies game and I was the one who needed a change of clothes?! It is times like these that I realize how fortunate I am – what would it be like if I couldn’t afford clothes, food or diapers for Ava?  Where would I go for help?

I’ve had the opportunity to work with community organizations across the country that assists families in need.  One amazing group, Cityteam, is located in Chester, Pennsylvania.  Cityteam transforms lives by covering a wide array of services for families.  They work with mothers and children providing clothing, diapers, formula – even Christmas presents during the holidays.

Cityteam is located in Chester, PA serving the Delaware Valley but they are also located in San Jose, San Francisco, Oakland and Portland, OR.

Please click here to learn more about Cityteam and the amazing work they do. Know someone who could use this information? Please pass along!
