Hey guys! It seems like it has been a while since I have been able to sit and write…I personally am thrilled October is over! I love the changing leaves, Halloween and all the fun in between but we have been SO busy with work, weddings, travel… I need a nice weekend at home watching Hallmark movies!
We had such a fun Halloween…besides Christmas, we are convinced it’s Ava’s favorite holiday! We went to a fun, kids Halloween party on October 28th at our club – they had Elmo, Mickey, a balloon maker, a DJ – the WORKS! We figured it would be a good time to give the costume a whirl….as you can see below, it wasn’t a hit right off the bat – but just wait – she turned it around!
October 30th came around and like most couples with a young baby, we were quietly watching TV on the couch before both falling asleep (way before 10pm) – I totally forgot it was mischief night, but apparently my cousins did not! Man, they really got us! We had 12 rolls of TP all over our trees and yard! Drew is plotting his 2019 revenge!
FINALLY, October 31st came around! We kicked off the day with Ava in her skelton PJ’s – followed by her school parade, SO cute!
OK HERE WE GO – we’re ready to Trick or Treat! Our neighbors really did it up and got the BIG size candy bars – sorry Ava, I will be eating that when you go to bed, more raisins and orange slices for you!
Our perfect little unicorn had a GREAT Halloween and we did too – it is SO much fun having a big family around who loves to go really big on holidays – even if that holiday is Mischief Night!!!
