Guys I had a major moment this week at Target – they are having a great CLOSE TO end of summer sale (still not ready for the words end of summer). It was one of those times when everything I tried on worked… I love/hate when that happens!
One of the few things in my outfit NOT from Target are these leggings. I know some people claim leggings are not pants and you aren’t supposed to go out in public in them unless you are going to the gym, but thats just not how my world works. Sometimes its the gym, sometimes its the grocery store, sometimes I really push things and convince myself, “hey if I put something long on top I can wear these to work, right?” These high-waisted Spanx leggings hug in all the right places and goes up right at your natural waist so it smoothes everything out and BONUS – they are not see-through or sheer. (size S) If you aren’t into the Camo look they come in black as well which I will likely wear about 4-5 days a week this fall 🙂

I should start by saying I dropped into Target for an anniversary card for Drew and this is what happened…isn’t that always the case? Happy 3rd anniversary to my hubs!
Ok.. here we go! This jean jacket is such a cute piece and it’s the type of jean material that isn’t too stiff so it moves well! I then found these great gold hoops and layered necklace..the hoops are lightweight and can dress up any outfit! I love layered necklaces so I grabbed this one right away. When scooping up my jewelry, I spotted this great tank top on a display mannequin, I was ready to climb up and grab it when I spotted a big rack of them on sale! In typical fashion, I picked up 2 of them because they were such good quality and fit! I didn’t get my sneakers I am wearing in the pic from Target but I linked another pair I am tempted to get – they are Champion brand, which is totally making a comeback from the 90’s and I am here for it!
I know I said I typically don’t buy nice sunglasses but I splurged on these. The main difference I find is the quality of the lens of the higher priced glasses. I feel old saying stuff like that but it’s true! They are so much clearer!
Let’s get to the MOST important thing in this entire post – our sweet dog, Madison! Madison is our 4 year old French Bulldog who is the greatest dog of all time. She will be making a lot of appearances here along with Ava so I hope you enjoy pictures of dogs and babies 🙂
