Progress Report: Cutting Out Dairy

I don’t know about you, but enjoying my coffee at our newly installed breakfast bar may be my favorite part of the day! It’s been a labor of love getting this room together and it still needs more work but WOW – what a way to start the day!


A few weeks back, I shared that I have been slowly cutting a lot of dairy out of my diet… (I still love me some cheese) and I can honestly say, it has made me feel better. I replaced my normal creamer with Almond Breeze Almondmilk Creamer, and I swear I feel 10 times better in the morning as I start my day! I used to use half and half and a sweetener but after testing out a few Almond Breeze Almondmilk Creamers, I zeroed in on my favorite – the new Caramel flavor! It gives my coffee a delicious creamy caramel flavor. Almond Breeze Almondmilk Creamers also come in Sweet Crème and Vanilla flavors.

It is sweet enough that it eliminates the need to add in any additional sweetener, so I love that I’ve been not only able to find a flavor I love, but also cut out the extra artificial sweetener. 

Another highlight for me was reading the ingredients and seeing these almondmilk creamers contain no cholesterol, saturated fat or artificial flavors – making me enjoy my morning cup even more. Now if I could only enjoy that cup while it’s still hot!  I’m sure some moms out there know what I mean!
